Big Bad Wolf: guilt, not guilt
Master Sgt. Mary Staats-Walker, 4th Fighter Wing Judge Advocate law office superintendent, portrays the Big Bad Wolf, while giving an unsworn statement to a mock jury consisting of students from Carver Heights Elementary School, Goldsboro, North Carolina, during a fairy tale themed mock trial at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, May 1, 2023. An unsworn statement is when someone shares their side of a story while not under oath. The base invited the students as part of Law Day to teach them about the Air Force’s legal professions. Community outreach events help the wing build relations with local communities and is an opportunity for Airmen to mentor future leaders.
