U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Fassil Mekete, non-commissioned officer in charge of material control assigned to the 4th Civil Engineer Squadron, aims an M4 carbine during a simulated response exercise at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, Feb. 22, 2024.
