4th Fighter Wing to launch official website redesign, temporarily pause new content for updates

4th Fighter Wing will launch a redesign of its official website in early December. To enable required updates, Public Affairs will not release new content Dec. 6 - 10, while the Air Force migrates to a newly-redesigned, mobile-ready website. The 4th Security Forces would like to remind base personnel and our guests that the usage of recreational Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Drones) is prohibited within the confines of Seymour Johnson AFB, Dare Range and Fort Fisher in accordance with SJAFB Force Protection Plan dated 21 Sep 2020. Signs have been posted around the perimeter of SJAFB advising personnel of this restriction. Military personnel violating this restriction may face UCMJ action. Civilians violating this restriction may face criminal action by local law enforcement. We ask our base community to report all suspicious activity to the Emergency Communications Center at 919-722-1212.

Air Force releases updated fitness test score breakdown

Physical fitness testing will resume July 1, 2021. Several changes have been made to the test to include increasing scoring for push-ups and sit-ups from 10 to 20 points each, five-year age groups and the waist measurement no longer being required.
