Engineers tighten the modular interaction between seat parts before ejection seat installation on an F-15E Strike Eagle at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, March 14, 2022. Modular parts of the ejection seat are checked thoroughly to ensure a tight fit in the cockpit. The Advanced Concept Ejection Seat 5 will replace the F-15E's older ACES II, which is used in many other aircraft in the U.S. Air Force’s arsonal.
