Air Force variety show open to public

Tops In Blue, the Air Force's premier entertainment showcase team, will perform a free concert open to the general public Feb 1 at the Paramount Theater in downtown Goldsboro, N.C.

The show themed "To Dream" begins at 7 p.m. Paramount door's open at 6 p.m. for active duty, military retirees, Department of Defense civilians and their dependants. Seating opens to all others at 6:30 p.m.

The all-ages show is open to the Goldsboro community, so they can see the talent in the Air Force, said Mary Rawles, 4th Force Support Squadron community center director. "This is a great show and an awesome way to see how talented our Air Force is. All team members are active-duty."

Airmen across the Air Force compete for slots on this theatrical variety show. The performers represent the branch's best vocalists, musicians, dancers, comedians, magicians and dramatists.

There are 500 seats available on a first come first served basis. Audience members can take photos of the show, as long as they stay in their seats.
