Keeping stomachs full

The Southern Eagles Dining Facility is one of two places dorm residents can use their meal card for free food on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, N.C. The DFAC serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight meals every day to provide customers healthy, well-balanced dining options. With the holidays approaching, the hours of operation will vary to allow Airmen and retirees an opportunity to dine with their families and friends.

The DFAC will be open during Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Hours of operations are:

Mondays through Fridays:
Breakfast -- 6 to 8 a.m.
Lunch -- 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Dinner -- 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Midnight -- 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Holidays and weekends:
Brunch -- 6 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Supper -- 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Midnight -- 11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
