The 4th Security Forces Squadron sponsored the first spring track meet here, April 23. The meet was held to raise money for fuel cards for Airmen Against Drunk Driving program volunteers. The meet consisted of 10 events, and the 1st through 4th place winners in each event received ribbons. All squadrons on base were represented at the meet. The squadron that wins the most races receives a trophy. Overall, the meet raised more than $600 for the AADD program.

The 4th Force Support Squadron received a trophy for the highest total score.

The 4th Fighter Wing implemented the AADD program to ensure Team Seymour members have safe passage home when their plans fall through. The services of AADD are available to any active duty or Reserve members, dependents, DoD civilians and retirees. Calls are completely anonymous and, contrary to popular belief, people who use the service do not have to volunteer the following week. The call center operates out of the Airman's Center next to the Southern Eagle Dining Facility here, where volunteers can play games, watch television and socialize with other Airmen from across base they may not have met otherwise.

AADD is a volunteer-designated driver program available on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as down days and holidays from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. For a ride, call 722-5633.
